Frequently asked questions

How do I add a document?

Tap the paperclip in the assistant bar at the bottom of the screen, then choose a photo, take a picture, or pick a file. HomeOp reads it and files the important details for you. You can also type an instruction along with the upload.

Where is my information stored?

Your vault is stored on your device and is also backed up to our secure servers (operated via Cloudflare) so the same information can appear on your other devices signed into the same Apple account. Documents and extracted details are keyed to an anonymous identifier, not your name or email. See the Privacy Policy (privacy.html) for details.

What does the subscription include?

HomeOp Monthly unlocks document reading and the in-app assistant for $5.99 per month. It renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions.

How do I cancel or request a refund?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. To cancel, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select HomeOp. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I sync with Apple Calendar?

Open the calendar in HomeOp and use the Sync menu to add your dated items to Apple Calendar, or to remove them again. HomeOp keeps its events in a dedicated "HomeOp" calendar so your other calendars are never touched.

How do I delete my data?

You can remove individual items in the app. To remove everything, delete the app from your device. Data is deleted from the device first, then the data is deleted from the device-sync server.
