HomeOp
Effective date: May 28, 2026. Last updated: May 28, 2026.
HomeOp is your family vault. The information you keep here is personal, and we treat it that way. This policy explains what HomeOp collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
HomeOp ("HomeOp", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") is an iOS application developed and operated by Brandon Docusen ("the Developer"). If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us at b.docusen@me.com.
HomeOp is designed for you to store household information. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
You decide what to add. Please only add information you are comfortable storing, and avoid adding documents that belong to other people without their permission.
Your documents and the information extracted from them are stored locally on your device within the app's private storage. This data may be included in your device backups if you have enabled backups through your Apple account, in which case it is handled under Apple's terms and your device settings. Your vault is stored locally on your device and mirrored on our servers (Cloudflare KV for structured vault data and preferences, Cloudflare R2 for document files), keyed to your anonymous identifier. This mirroring lets your vault stay consistent across devices on the same Apple account. We do not use this storage for advertising or to build a marketing profile. Local data may also be included in device backups under Appleās terms.
HomeOp uses artificial intelligence to read, structure, and answer questions about your household information. To make this possible:
Your use of these features is also subject to the AI provider's applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to serve advertising.
You can change or revoke any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate HomeOp:
These providers process information only as needed to perform their function and under their own terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers listed above, when required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or the Developer.
Your vault is stored on your device and mirrored on our servers so it can stay consistent across your devices. You remain in control of your local copy: you can delete individual items in the app, and you can remove all HomeOp data from a device by deleting the app. Changes you make in the app are synced to our servers when possible.
Deleting the app removes the local copy on that device but does not automatically remove server-stored copies. Unreferenced document files on our servers may be removed automatically after a grace period. To request deletion of all server-stored data associated with your anonymous identifier, contact us at b.docusen@me.com.
Information held by Apple or our subscription provider for billing and entitlement purposes is retained under their respective policies and applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections for data in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
HomeOp is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because your vault lives on your device, you can exercise most of these choices directly in the app and in iOS Settings. For requests involving information held by us or our providers, contact us at b.docusen@me.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
HomeOp is operated from the United States. If you use the app from another region, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated through the app or other reasonable means. Your continued use of HomeOp after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Questions, requests, or concerns about privacy can be sent to b.docusen@me.com.
